Announcing an exciting initiative from the Boat Building Academey. Do get in touch if you would like to support a Repair Cafe in Lyme with any of the skills listed or to help on the day or with the organisation of each cafe

DORSET COUNCIL is pleased to announce that they are accepting these items in recycling boxes. So no more need to drop them into the containers in Holmbush Car Park. This is a very welcomed addition to local recycling.

✔️ Food cartons and drinks cartons (e.g. soup, milk, juice etc.)
✔️ Cardboard tube-shaped containers (e.g. curved crisps, hot chocolate,
gravy granules)
✔️ Foil containers (e.g. pie trays, take-away dishes)
✔️ Foil sheets (e.g. to cover food or wrap sandwiches)
✔️ Foil lids (e.g. yoghurts, noodles.)

DORSET COP 24 - The Power of Community
Saturday, 2 November
Turn Lyme Green was represented at the first Dorset COP last year -and what a day it was! The event was endorsed by broadcaster Chris Packham and attracted 200 people. This year it is being held in Bournemouth - perhaps we could encourage a car share? Contact us if you would like to go. Bookings are open
